Project Overview: Layne GeoConstruction designed and installed over 2,000 jet grout columns to provide soil stabilization for utility construction along 1,500 linear feet of utility trench in a low lying area with shallow groundwater. The single-fluid jet grout columns acted as a seepage barrier/cut-off wall, mitigating the migration of contaminated soil and groundwater from an adjacent commercial fueling station.
