at a historic covered bridge.

Layne GeoConstruction constructed a system of jet grouted columns for ground improvement and
underpinning of an existing historic covered bridge abutment. The single fluid jet grouting system
was utilized to limit column diameters to a maximum of three feet and thus reduce the potential for
adversely affecting the stability of the existing abutment.
